Welcome to Green Press

Congratulations, kid. You've graduated from N3 University School of Arts and landed a gig at Green Press, the city's most... efficient news outlet.

Our majority shareholder, Mr. Big Green, is a billionaire, an idol, and a walking PR disaster. He wants to save the world while stacking cash, and he can't tolerate a single speck of dust on his public image.

Your Job: You are the Image Editor. Every morning, management throws you a Headline (The Truth We Need) and a Raw Photo (The Flawed Reality). Your goal is to use your masking tools to "correct" reality until it matches the headline.

Remember:

• Too much truth? You're fired.
• Too much obedience? You lose your soul.
• The perfect balance? Well, that's an art form.

Operations Manual (How to Play)

You have 2 minutes per assignment. Don't think. Just edit.

The Controls:

• Mouse: Click and drag to apply masks over the Target Zones.
• Goal: Try to meet your boss's demands, or not...

The Toolkit:

• Darken: Hides flaws, stains, and "undesirable elements" in the shadows. Management's favorite.
• Blur: Softens the hard edges of reality. Perfect for erasing angry crowds or speeding cars.
• Invert: Flips the narrative completely. Red lights become Green. Black smoke becomes White steam. Weapons become... something else.
• Lighten: WARNING. This tool exposes details and brings the truth to light. Use with extreme caution. Management hates this.

 Performance Review (The System)

At the end of each shift, your work is evaluated on a coordinate system based on Area Coverage:

1. Sales (Completion Rate):
   • Did you edit enough of the photo?
   • Below 60%? You are fired for incompetence.
2. Ideology Bias (The Spectrum):
   • Obedience: Using Darken, Blur, and Invert increases your standing with Mr. Big Green.
   • Justice: Using Lighten exposes the truth but angers your boss.

Endings

Your editing style determines your fate. There are 4 Distinct Endings to discover based on your decisions:

• Ending 1: You're Fired. (Incompetence)
• Ending 2: You Know Too Much. ( The Rebel)
• Ending 3: ??? (The Master Manipulator / N3 Corp)
• Ending 4: You Got a Raise. (The Loyal Dog)
